Becky Kuc earns USEF Varsity Letter for dressage
Hidden Creek's Becky Kuc has earned a high school varsity letter through the United States Equestrian Federation based on her advanced performance in dressage over her past three years in high school. She is now recognized as a USEF High School Equestrian Athlete. Becky recently received her certificates from USEF for not only her current year in high school, but her freshman and sophomore years as well. A dressage rider (among riders of other disciplines) can be recognized by USEF for all four years of high school if they meet the appropriate requirements; the rider must be a USEF member enrolled in high school, and must log a minimum of 100 hours of practice a year and proof of competition at a minimum of five USDF and/or ESDCTA recognized shows a year. In her freshman, sophomore, and junior years, Becky far exceeded these requirements.
Becky will be recieving a patch, jacket, and a pin for each year as a varsity high school athlete. For each year a rider qualifies, he or she receives a pin with 1, 2, 3 or 4 stars. Currently, Becky has earned 1, 2 and 3 stars, and plans to earn her fourth and final star her senior year of high school. This is a huge accomplishment and we strongly advise all of our most dedicated high school-aged riders to look into the program as well.

What's Going on at the Barn Tonight...
Friday nights are some of the busiest lesson nights, but also some of the most fun! Tonight, our 8:00 Group Jumping lesson is taking a fun turn; while the lesson is always a fun one to watch, tonight, in honor of Ashley's 15th birthday, we'll be playing jumping games! That means more jumps, and more fun for Ed & Bally, Becky & Rufus, Ashley & Thunder, Alyssa & Barney, and Jess & Mawby!!!
